Natural History Museum Sintra

The Natural History Museum of Sintra is located next to the National Palace and it is housed inside a 19th century building. After purchasing the ticket from the museum office, one is greeted by this large head of Triceratops. In the audio-visual room of the museum one can get information about the origin of life and how life developed over the million of years.
The contents inside the museum are neatly displayed and generally speaking there are two multiple rows of displays. Objects were arranged in rows and labelled in Portuguese and English languages. Ammonites, marine animals belong to the molluscs family were displayed inside the museum. They vary in shape and sizes but they all look nearly similar.
