Camera Obscura, Tavira

Camera Obscura, also known as the Tower of Tavira (Torre de Tavira) is a structure which offers a lookout point over Tavira city but from a different angle. It was an old water tower opened in 1931 to supply water to the whole city. A maximum of 15 people can watch the show at any given time due to limited space inside the room. There is a lift which brings the visitors to the top of the structure but there is also a staircase for more energetic people.
